31 марта в Азербайджане отмечается как День геноцида азербайджанцев. В марте 1918 года захватившие власть под предводительством С.Шаумяна дашнаки осуществили безжалостный геноцид против азербайджанского народа. В результате геноцида в марте-апреле в Баку, Шамахе и в других регионах были убиты ни в чем неповинные азербайджанцы. Ниже представлена галлерея художественных работ, которая была изложена на выставке в Музейном Центре Баку, всвязи с геноцидом. Выставка проходила в Январе, 2010. Была выставлено более 100 работ 90 художников.
The 31st of March is being marked in Azerbaijan every year, as the Day of Azerbaijani Genocide. Back in 1918, in March, ruthless Armenian soldiers, led by S. Shaumyan carried out a genocide against civil population of Azerbaijan. As a result of those actions, many innocent people in Baku, Shamakha, and other regions, were killed. The events of March 31 had very deep influence on whole Azerbaijani nation, and artists in particular. Thus, in January 2010 by the ministerial decree numerous works, dedicated to the genocide events of January 20, Khojali and March 31 were brought together. The exposition contains more than 100 works of more than 90 artists. The exhibition of above-mentioned works was held on the eve of the genocide, on March 30 in the Museum Center in Baku.
